Troubleshooting the common bumps
A few practical fixes for the issues some users may encounter while curating and using their custom Foldery Menu.

Saved item does not show or cannot be opened
If a saved item was moved, renamed, or removed outside FolderyMenu, the app may need to refresh or you may need to re-add it.
- Reopen the menu after a change.
- Confirm the file or folder still exists in Finder.
- Re-add it if the original location changed.
The menu feels slow
Keep your menu focused on active work. Very large folders, very broad searches, or overusing features that expose huge file lists can make scanning slower.
Usually faster: a curated project folder, a few pinned items, and selective consolidation only where it saves time.
Search results feel too broad
Try searching by folder name only if you mainly want to jump to folders. Include file listings only when you need to search inside them.
Cannot drag a file INTO a Foldery Folder
As a FolderyFolder may contain listings from multiple locations, dragging files into it might not work as expected. Open the folder in finder from the FolderMenu, and then drag there.
